How emergency plumber pricing works
Many emergency plumbers in the UK charge a call-out fee just for turning up. We don't. Our call-outs are free, so you only pay for the work itself:
- No call-out fee — we travel to you and make an initial assessment of the problem at no charge.
- An hourly rate or fixed-job price — for the work itself, once the fault is diagnosed. Simple, well-understood jobs are often quoted as a fixed price; more open-ended repairs are usually billed hourly plus parts.
On top of that, most emergency plumbers charge a higher rate outside normal hours. We do too. This reflects the cost of being available evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Nothing. Our call-outs are free, so you won't pay anything just for us to attend.
The price of any work depends on the job: what's wrong, how easy it is to reach and which parts it needs. Because every job is different, we don't publish a fixed price list. What we can promise is simple. You'll have the actual price in hand, confirmed with you, before any work begins.

No. Getting in touch to describe your problem is free, and so is getting an idea of cost. Since our call-outs are free too, you only pay once you've agreed a price for the work.
Is it more expensive at night or weekends? +
Our call-outs are free at any hour. However, like most emergency trades, out-of-hours work usually costs more than daytime work. That includes evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays, because being available around the clock costs more. We'll always tell you the applicable rate before you commit.
Do I pay if you can't fix it? +
You won't pay a call-out fee, so you're not charged just because we attended. If we can't fix the problem, we'll explain why and what your options are. Still, you'll never be charged for anything you haven't agreed to first.
How do I pay? +
We'll agree the price with you before starting work. Once the job is done, we provide an itemised invoice. That way, you'll know exactly what you're paying for.
